My name is Derek Brown, and I am a young Engineer, Software Designer, Programmer and Amateur Radio, ready to take on the world!
I learned Software Engineering since I was 4 (literally) when I designed Websites and Robots with one of my mentors, Tom. I later moved to larger projects in C++, PHP, and I am in the process of completing AP Computer Science in Java. I am currently the web master for a half-dozen sites, which is quickly growing. If you are interested in Web Design, contact me using the contact form.
I began tinkering with electronic parts in the basement, tearing apart electronics and figuring out how they worked. I learned about Ham Radio in an article published in WIRED Magazine. I have quickly leveled up, and am currently an Extra Class Amateur Radio Operator. I have built a modest station, and have currently contacted over 126 Countries around the world. If you are interested in my Amateur Radio Exploits, visit my Ham Radio Page.
Only recently I have become interested in industrial design. I am currently developing a High-Power HF RF Amplifier for the Amateur Radio Bands.
This site acts as a portal for all of my projects.
